SERVER RULES

1) Do not deathmatch.

Deathmatch is when you kill or attempt to kill another player without a valid reason. You're only allowed to kill someone to protect e.g. your brother or a friend(not someone you've just said hi to) or when your life is in danger or you're about to be e.g. arrested.
Examples of what you should not do:
A police unit turns their sirens on and orders you to pull over, without knowing what they're pulling you over for, you just gun them down. You should at least wait and see what they want, if you're armed and they tell you they're going to frisk you and you don't want to get caught, you're obviously allowed to do something about it. Basically, you're allowed to kill LEOs if they're about to arrest you, but you're not allowed to kill them for e.g. giving you a ticket.

You and another player crash into eachother(with e.g. your cars), you get out and open fire at the other driver.
Someone insults you(light insult, e.g. idiot, cocksucker) and you kill him. You're allowed to teach the guy a lesson, but you're not allowed to kill him(unless you're e.g. a mafia boss and your own cocky member is insulting you).

You're being beaten up by a new player(newbie) who has not read the rules, without being close to death or even trying to get away, you kill the newbie. Instead of doing that, you can either use /report or /atalk to get assistance from an admin or helper, or just run away.

Punishements:
90-120 Minutes adminjail
or 24-99999 hour account ban
or permanent IP ban

Deathmatching a newb
24 - 168 hour account ban.

2) Do not revengekill.

Revenge killing is when you go back and kill/attempt to kill a player who has just killed you. You need a proper reason to kill someone, you cannot kill a player only because you've been killed by him/her.

Punishment
60 Minutes adminjail
or 24 hour account ban

3) Do not powergame.
Powergame is when you do things that are actually impossible, such as lifting a house. It can also be forcing roleplay on other players, not letting them respond to your actions.

Punishements:
20-60 Minutes adminjail

4)Do not metagame.
Metagame is when you use OOC knowledge IC.
e.g. If someone asks you to come help him get away from the cops, via PM, and you go help him out - that's metagame from both sides.
The example above is a clear case of metagaming. Minor cases e.g. reading nametags, knowing factions cause of their vehicle colour is allowed even though it may make you look like a total noob.

Punishments:
30-70 Minutes adminjail

5) Do not spawnkill

Spawnkill is when you kill someone who has just spawned. Players who have just spawned should have a "Just Spawned" sign over their heads.

60-90 Minutes adminjail

6) Do not insult other players

Insulting other players is not allowed for a very obvious reason - this is a game and we're supposed to have fun playing it. Using heavy insults(race, family, religion, etc.) will result in heavier punishments.
You're allowed(but not recommended) to use light insults in the right situations(not because someone shoots you IC - and not too often) - you risk getting muted or kicked for light insults, but that's it. However, you're NOT allowed to insult on duty staff members, they have enough to deal with already.

Punishements:
Light insults:
Mute 2-15 Minutes
or Kick

Other insults:
30-90 Minutes adminjail
or 1-3 day account ban

7) Do not use any third-party software.

Using any third-party software to give you unfair advantage over other players is not allowed. If you have questions about e.g. CLEO mods, speak to an admin to avoid any misunderstandings.
Example of forbidden mods:
CLEO(EMLS is allowed for LEOs)
Cam hack
Autoaim
Sobeit

Punishements:
Permanent IP ban

8.) Do not advertise for other servers.
Telling to players to go other servers is strictly forbidden.

Punishements:
1 Month IP ban
or Permanent IP ban

9) Do not encourage rule breaking.

Encouraging other players to break server rules is not allowed and will give you the other player's punishment x2.
Example of encouraging rule breaking:
Telling a player to abuse a money bug.

Punishements:
Other player's punishment x2

10) Do not driver drive by (DDB).

Driver drive-by can be both parking a vehicle ontop of another player & shooting with a weapon from the driver's seat.

Punishements:
60-90 Minutes admin jail

11) Do not ram/provoke people.
Provoking other players without a valid RP reason is not allowed. Example:
Continously ramming PD vehicles to provoke a chase.

Punishements:
20-60 Minutes adminjail

12) Do not scam low level players.

Scamming level 1, 2 and 3 players is forbidden. New players need to get a chance to get settled in the server before getting money taken away from them.
You are only allowed to scam for a maximum of $300.000.

Punishements:
120 Minutes adminjail
or 24-48 hours account ban

13) Do not abuse /ad.

The /ad command is only there for you to advertise your business, sell/buy different items and announce your company is currently looking for staff. It is for example NOT allowed to provoke other players(OOC or IC) via advertisements. As long as you don't provoke people(IC or OOC) or make useless ads, it's okay.

Punishements:
1 Warning

14) Do not spam.

Three lines or more with the same message in any chat is considered spam.

Punishements:
1 Warning
or kick

15) Do not use abbreviations IC.

Using abbreviations such as "LOL", "OMG" or "wtf" is not allowed in any IC chat.

Punishements:
15-40 Minutes adminjail
or verbal warning

16) Do not use smilies IC.

Using smilies in an IC chat is considered mixing OOC & IC and is not allowed.

Punishements:
15-40 Minutes adminjail
or verbal warning

17) Do not abuse /kill.

Using /kill when you're close to getting killed or arrested is considered abuse. Using /kill to avoid a RP situation is obviously not allowed either.

Punishements:
60 Minutes adminjail + removal of drugs & sellable weapons

18) Do not share accounts.
Sharing your account with e.g. a friend or a family member is forbidden. Selling or giving away accounts is also forbidden.

Punishements:
2-4 weeks account ban
or Permanent account ban

19) Do not speak foreign languages in public chats.

Speaking other languages than english in public chats(e.g. /L, /O) is not allowed, instead use PM or whispers.

Punishements:
1 Warning
or Kick

20) Do not abuse /q.

Abusing the /q command to e.g. avoid death, RP or arrest is considered abuse.

Punishments:
90 Minutes adminjail + removal of drugs & sellable weapons
OR 24-48 hours ban.

21) Do not roleplay rape without permission from all parties.

Before you roleplay a rape, you MUST make sure all parties involved agree to the RP scenario.

Punishements:
80 Minutes adminjail
or 24 hours account ban

22) Do not mix OOC with IC.

This applies to all IC chats.
Example:
Chatting about IC related stuff, such as selling/buying vehicles/business' in /pm

Punishements:
15-60 Minutes adminjail
or verbal warning

23) Do not heal in fights.[/color]

Unless you clearly have escaped from your enemy, you are not allowed to heal yourself. You are allowed to use drugs in fights, though.

Punishements:
60 Minutes adminjail

24) Do not avoid the AFK kicker.

Avoiding the AFK kicker by e.g. putting an item on your keyboard for your character to move, or using some kind of bot is not allowed.

Punishements:
12-48 hours account ban

25) Do not return to the place you died at.

Immediately returning to the place you died at, or before the roleplay/situation there is finished is not allowed. Law Enforcement Officers are allowed to return when 10 minutes have passed.

Punishements:
60 Minutes adminjail

26) Do not kill inside the Police Department without a proper reason.

If you do not have a valid reason to kill someone inside the police department(PD), you will be punished. If you are able to kill your target outside the PD, do so instead. You are advised to ask an admin before killing inside the PD.

Punishements:
60 Minutes adminjail

27) Do not mix your accounts.

For example, transfering money or other items from one of your accounts to another.

Punishements:
1 Week IP ban + removal of the items, or getting them sent back to the original account

28) Do not be rude to admins.

Instead of being rude to admins when you think they have done something wrong, try to be nice to them and ask if they have time to hear your side of the story. If they are busy, you'll either have to live with it or alternative you can send them a forum PM.

Punishements:
1 Warning
or Mute for x minutes

29) Do not abuse PM.

Do use ingame or forum PM to ask admins to check your unban appeal/player report/admin abuse threads, unless they ask you to. Do not PM admins ingame about admin related things, that's what /irc is for.

Punishements:
2 Points forum warning
or 1 Warning / Kick

30) Do not abuse bugs or other malfunctions.

Abusing script/GTA SA bugs is strictly forbidden. Script bugs should be reported in the right section on the forum. Money bugs should be forum PMed to 'woot'.

Punishements:
3-7 Days IP ban
or Permanent IP ban

31) Do not sell items for real money & do not sell real things with IG money

Selling game items(e.g. houses, vehicles, money) for real money is strictly forbidden. Selling real items for IG money is strictly forbidden.

Punishements:
Permanent account ban
or Permanent IP ban

32) Do not kill people at your property without warning them.

If someone is trespassing e.g. your HQ or house, you are not allowed to kill them before making it perfectly clear to them that they should leave your property.

Punishements:
60 Minutes adminjail
or 24 hour account ban

Deathmatching a newb
48 - 72 hour account ban

33) Do not use restricted skins.

Restricted skins are: Police(PD trainee skin included) & Army skins. If you want to use a restricted skin, talk to an admin(only if you have a proper RP reason).

Punishements:
1 Warning
or 20 Minutes adminjail

34) Do not abuse OOC chats.

Going OOC in a roleplay situation without a proper reason is not allowed. It doesn't matter if another player breaks a rule, try to stay IC anyway.

Punishements:
1 Warning
or 20 Minutes adminjail

35) Do not ignore admin instructions.

Administrators' job is to enforce the server rules to make the gameplay as fun as possible for all players. If an admin tells you to do something you must listen to him.
Example:
Admin1 tells you to leave the area you're in.

Punishements:
1 Warning
or 30-60 Minutes adminjail
or Kick
